Ford Fiesta 1.4, 2005b model misfire?

I have a misfire causing the car to lose power wen going uphill and starts to jerk, lights flicker in the night, from normal to dim. head has been redone, service has been done, vacuum pipe has been changed. been advised to get hold of an auto electrician for the misfire and change fuel filter.
