i have to keep pressing the re-set button on the boiler every few days, i have installed a new circulator pump as it siezed and have bled every rad including the pump screw, the boiler started cutting out about 10 days prior to the pump failure but i still have the same concern, the ball valve in the header tank is ok also and the tank has sufficient water in it.
their is a common fault with the pump over run thermostats on profiles, turn the boiler stat up to max, turn the hot water on and when the boiler cuts out on the boilerstat, turn the clock to off immediately and make sure the pump still runs.

is the water in header tank getting in the system. a pump 9 out 10 time seizes due to lack of water.if you have a drain tap on one of the rads try draining some water at the same time as its draining see if the header tank is filling by the ball valve. that sounds like you have low water in the system making the boiler trip.
