panasonic cd/ipod dock?

I have no power at all coming out of this player. I've tested the power cable on another appliance and that is fine. It was used 2 days ago and it was fine. It hasn't been dropped or touched for that matter. I do suspect that water could possibly have got into the system as it sits beneath a boiler. If it has got water in it will it work once it has dried out or is it for the bin ?

Panasonic Audio, CD Players Power Tested Appliance

I have a panasonic sc-sp100 E BK ipod docking station its 9 months old . When i was taking my ipod out of the dock it was stuck so when i did get it out a piece of plastic came off the dock so my ipod wont work on it now . Can it be fixed i dont have the piece of plastic i cant find it . I took it back to pc world where i bought it but because its accidental damage . Please help.
