how can i fix the timing of 210d injection pump of mercedes sprinter?

to refit the pump, engine needs to be 10 degrees after top dead centre, and the pump needs to be set so the nick in the gear is at 10 o clock. turn the pump on until there is pressure, then install. the fine adjustment needs to be done via diagnostic computor though.
it may be an early one, where there is a 17mm headed blanking plug in the pump. these need a tool from mercs fitted to lock. £9 it costs.

there is no any timing mark in the sprocket of an injection pump..make sure the camshaft position in power stroke cylinder number 1,and let the crankshaft at TDC position,then remove the injection pump completely (note the inj pump is rotary type) tyrn the shaft clockwise until release pressure the end fit of tubing for cylinder number 1,fix the inj pump carefully and fix the sprocket and tight the torx bolt counter clockwise.

Oh dear you are in trouble if you did not set the timing up before you removed the pump and to get it repaired go to a diesel repair spaecialist (try looking in yellow pages)
