its possible, they dis-connected it because the tow bar is protruding out so as to make sensors inaccurate in measuring the distance as you are reversing or they needed the power supply. you could go to garage and ask them, or do as us mear mortals do, and learn how to reverse without them or do as toyota do to some of their cars and fit a rear mirror.
