how to fix my brother celebrity 10 sewing machine?

my sewing machine keeps freezing after only a few stitches and when fabric is freed from machine there are large loops on reverse as well as large loops inside underneath of machine

Sounds to me like you have neglected to thread the take up lever,machine sounds "clunky" & jams after 2 or 3 stitches.Best to refer to the manual & follow the threading instructions.

Hello Jo,
You have a definite tension problem, loops underneath means either the top tension is too loose or the bobbin case tension is too tight
