how to change a water pump on mercedes sprinter 311 cdi 04 reg?

forget the above, thats for the later model.
you do need to take the front off. do it in 1 piece, take the number plare off, and both headlights. you can now see all bolts.
once thats off, simple obvious nuts and bolts.
if you still struggle, you should probably let someone else do it!

you need a locking spanner for the water pump, theyre about £12.could probably make one. then you can undo the alan bolt through the fan.
tip, put a sheet cardboard sheet between the rad and fan, 2 reasons, easy to damage, and theyre sharp as razors!
the fan and cowl come off together, bit tight. no need to take the front off.
after this, its just a matter of undoing the same amount of boltholes that are on the new on.
dont forget the corrosion inhibitor/anti freeze
