is the appliance draining the water out?.if not it could be something in the drain pump impeller jamming it
If the machine drains constantly then there could be water in the base.lay the dishwasher on its back and see if water comes out.now retry
could be a faulty circulation pump or a faulty water counter also.difficult to diagnose without being there to fully test it
