problems with windscreen wipers & washers on my Peugeot 205 XL ?

I am having problems with my Peugeot 205 XL windscreen wipers & washers. The front ones wont work at all, I know the pump works but not by the lever.
the rear wipers don't work but the water comes through, fuses OK.
I hope this makes sense.
Please dont tell me to take it to the scrap yard
