why my MSN is freezing as soon as i sent a message?

Hello Everyone. I need your help please.
I have the same problem as well.

Why does my MSN Messenger freeze as soon as I try to send a msg to a contact ? I can use the Internet fine, but, as soon as I log into MSN Messenger and try to msg someone, my whole screen freezes. I can STILL use the Internet, but, MSN Messenger is FROZEN.
I cant even do single webcams anymore, i only view webcams via video call.

I am using a Toshiba Satellite laptop with Windows Vista with the latest version for Windows Live Messenger.
