Cassette stuck in VCR while loading?

Symphonic SV431E: video cassette got stuck in the mechanism while loading. Cassette went partway in and stopped, with second push it seemed to load, but then the mechnism stopped, and cassette will not eject or play. Display blinks the tape symbol and channel number. Tried unplugging, waiting, turning upside down, plugging back in a hitting eject, etc. Took cover off, but cannot rotate loading motor. Any chance this can be fixed at home?
