I have an induction hob De Dietrich model DT1304JE1
what is error code 07 ?.
and how do i fix it ?.

thank you this has helped me too - i was ready to get a new hob as I assumed it was a big fault- on an old hob ( about 18 years old) , I thought not worth paying for a costly repair

Thanks ever so much for the answer to the 07 code on the De Dietrich induction hob.
My partner had leaned on it and by the sounds of things inadvertently locked it.
Simultaneously pressing Unlock together with + & - has reset it and we are cooking again!

On my DD hob I only got a beep, no lights or power. as suggested I switched off for 10 seconds, left it for about 15 mins then touched the lock + the plus and minus symbols next to the clock, nothing beeped so don't know if this did anything, but when I then powered a ring up hey presto !

I had the same problem. The last post was very helpful as I was not aware that locking function exists. I was simply cleaning the hob and all of the sudden it got locked.

turn off at power, leave a few seconds and turn back on. It should now work

Might look like 07 but could be the symbol for "locked". On some it can be unlocked by pressing the padlock symbol, others hold the padlock and the + and - at the same time. I solved mine by switching off at the circuit board for 30 mins and when I switched back on it was ok.
