do i need a stalk adaptor?

I have a vauxhall vectra on a 96 plate. Currently it has a factory radio cassette which can be operated by the steering wheel. If I buy a new stereo with OEM do i also need to buy a stalk adaptor so that I can still use the steering wheel to operate the cd and radio.

You will have to buy a fairly decent player and you can find out what players make adapters. Sony and Kenwood and 2 that I can name, the adapters are around £40 to buy and have to be ordered. Your best bet would be to go to somewhere like halfords or somewhere like that as they will tell you everything. The new player has to be remote control compatible as this is where the steering wheel controls plug into. I hope that you can understand this.
Kind Regards.
