How to change the Cartridge on Epson Stylus C40+?

· Lift the printer cover and press the "Maintenance" button for six seconds. The print heads should move to the centre of the printer where they will be easy to reach.
· Step 2
Pull the ink cartridge clamp on the empty ink cartridge up the whole way and remove the cartridge from its holder.
· Step 3
Remove the new ink cartridge from its wrapping and remove the yellow protective tape. Do not remove this protective tape until you are actually ready to put the ink cartridge into the printer. Removing the protective tape too soon could cause the ink to dry out.
· Step 4
Tilt the print cartridge back as you lower it into the print holder until it snaps into place. Close the clamp and press the maintenance button to start the charging of the ink delivery system. This charging process usually takes about a minute.
· Step 5
Watch for the power light to stop flashing and the error light to go out. This is your indication that the ink delivery system has been charged and the printer is ready.
