if you can get to the bolts that hold the bonnet catch, undo them,look though front grill and you might be able to see them, or jack car up and look up to see if they are there.might have to take the "ford" sign off should just pull out, you might find you have to take 1 bolt from front of car and other bolt from underneath, this is how i did this on my sharan and as both cars are nearly the same you might have same type of fitting. dont forget to get new cable first.
