My mower starts easily and seems to run oK but then cuts out when asked to cut more than an inch or so of grass. It has worked fine for a year but now seems to lack power. Any ideas please?
This is the inherently poor Chinese built engine you have fitted. It's not designed to be repaired to any in depth extent. Don't bother doing anyrhing else- simply replace the machine with one that is fitted with a recognised brnad engine such as Briggs and Stratton or Honda- engines that can be repaired are reliable and you can source parts for.

Hi Husqvarna Man - thanks for your suggestions. I have cleaned the carb jets, fuel supply pipe and put fresh fuel in, all with no change. The carb is below the tank. Any more ideas appreciated - thanks Phil

Has tp be running lean, check fuel flow to carb, remove carb and clean jets, if it has the carb on top of the fuel tank, replace diaphram.
