Just sold Sony 55" Projection - NOW Red at top after Pick up Truck drive ?

CAN DRIVING A PROJECTION TV IN BACK OF A PICK UP DAMAGE IT? 4" RED ON TOP OF SCREEN NOW. NEED CLEANING ?

I sold my 3 year old Sony LCD Grand Wega yesterday - KDF-55E2000 and it was picked up and put in the back of a pick-up truck for an almost hour drive down the freeway and into the City.

Once hooked up there is now a red streak across the top almost 4" - I am wondering what part could have been damaged? Or is it dust getting in there during the drive? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

I just don't want the new owner thinking I sold him a faulty television, he tested it out here on regular cable, high definition and DVD and there was no problem.

We just replaced the bulb last month as it was nearing the end of it's life.

Just wondering what kind of part could have shifted or moved in transportation as it was not boxed up just tied down in a box of a truck. He did have to take the freeway and drive about an hour. Could dust that was already in there shifted to a bad spot in the TV?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
