suzuki vl 125 starting problem?

Hi ,the bike usually starts first time ,no prob. runs no problem for hours.if you let it run 5 secs. 5 mins or 2 hours ,once it.s switched off, it wont start again ,thought it might be cut out switch ,not that, won,t bump start either,no spark at plugs .go back an hour later and it starts,switch it off and it wont start again cheers Mick

hi mate had similar sounding probs with mine try the wires by the battery ihad corroded connections by the fuses

hi back again Adam,no spark at all now,,don,t suppose you know how many cut out switches these have ,just seen a clutch cut out switch on ebay ???

it sounds like a primary ignition coil fault,but usually this cuts out when it gets warm......so ill have a think about that one as its not a common problem.
