what do i loosen to fit an alternator belt to my rover 400 petrol 1600

in the centre of the tensioner there is a nut, slacken it, but don't remove it. behind the tensioner there is an adjuster bolt, turn it to slacken the adjuster. after fitting the belt adjust the bolt to tension it & tighten the nut in the centre to lock it in place.
