How to repair my Morphy Richards food Processor no.740/750/760 range?

Bought brand new 3 years ago. Never used. Tried to use it but it is completely dead. Not the plug or fuse because I have changed those in order to check. Is there somwhere I can take it to be repaired. It is no longer covered by guarentee.

It seems likely to be either a fault in the safety mechanism, or the food processor not correctly assembled. Double check the manual and examine the safety mechanism where the bowl and the lid clip on for any debris or damage causing them not to close correctly.
