Symphonic WF803?

DVD disc wont load/play due to broken "turnstile" , (the part that sets in the DVD hole to turn the disc). Only cure I found was to replace the whole DVD mechanism, (too costly), or just buy a new machine!

Tom ... I bought my Symphonic WF803 and it gave me the EXACT same massage, just in tim after my warranty expired. I was stuck with just a VCR. Well after all these years, I decided to look online for the solution. I come across your message, and I decided to take matters into my own hand.

I opened up the top, and unscrewed all kinds of things ... I blew into everything, and still nothing .. finally, with the top still off, the power on, and dvd inside, I shove it back towards the wall. I prompted my DVD disc to start spinning. Now Ive turned it off and on again, and it works. I feel stupid I didn't try the tough love thing. LOL, Seriously.

Tom Have you found your answer? my player just srted doing this too, well the wierd cryptic message.
