Have I ruined my new breadmaker?

I bought a Morphy Richards Fastbake breadmaker recently, (model48268) and have begun to make really nice bread.
However I have just had a (very) senior moment, and have put the water, oil, sugar, milkpowder and salt into the maker itself, not the bread drum!!!
All the liquids have poured out of the bottom, and the sugar, salt and milk powder wre round the spindle area.
What (if anything) can I do? I have dried inside, stood the breadmaker on absorbent paper. I am going to try to get the powdery things out with cotton buds.
Is it a write-off???
HELP PLEASE

probably not; my partner did the same, wipe it out, continue on; a bit skeptical about everything myself but still cooking after several months

As long as you leave it to dry thoroughly and attempt to get all the powder and sugar out of the maker you will probably be alright ...just be careful when switching on after drying out.You might want to remove any base plate the maker might have and use a hair drier to assist with drying it out.
