ford galaxy 1.9 tdi fuel gauge not working?

Had the Galaxy serviced with replaced seized clutch on alternator (hence at low rev's very noisy belt) full service after three days had enough and pulled the car out of the garage £800 later full gauge is not working is there a connection that has been detatched anywhere?
