how can I get my dvd player 2 play again?

i dont know if this will help but i am haveing same problem with my Pannisonic Omnivision DvD/VHS/Tuner/ Aux combo unit as well....i keep getting the "No Play" option on my digital display and a message on my Screen that says cannot be playing in current region...the only way i can play the DvD is by reinitialize it every time which sucks but have yet to find an answer as how to fix it permanitly. In DvD mode with dvd tray empty or ejected press and hold "Rew" on vhs "play" on Dvd player and "Open/Close" on tray...hold for about 5 seconds or so and you will see a message on TV screen "Initialized". you will then be able to play a dvd until you power off...after that you will need to do it over agian....hope this helps
