Thank you John for giving me some advice. My partner did them and hes been doing them for years but with this car were having trouble. Usually bleeding the brakes after works but not this time lol. Will let you know how we get on though. Thanks again. Penny

Errr right then. So, new linings all round including discs and callipers? Must have been some bill.....anyway - some things to check. Does the brake pedal slowly sink and go down to the floor? Thats a master cylinder fault. Does pumping the pedal help things? Thats usually air in the system. You know - you have to allow brake linings to bed in for a while, and this will take 50 miles sometimes. Do you think it could be that? Failing all of this, just bleed the brakes again - ideally with a pressure bleeder.

Believe it or not Penny but its the back brakes on these - if they are discs - that give a funny pedal feel. They are very prone to collecting dirt and sticking so have them cleaned out.
