Hygena integral freezer apm6222?

Periodically my thermostat red alert is buzzing, the thermostat is still working, I can turn if off and on, all three lights are working. so it makes me wonder if the thermastat is the problem Somebody suggested it could be the gas?? can you help

Ive had similar issues with a Whirlpool freezer. I guess that the the same ITW ISPRA Controls TP723100 board is implicated here.

Its a bit late but just for the record the RS part number for the G5LE-14-VD 24VDC relay is 369-488. However since there is no trade counter near us and they are sniffy about dealing with non trade account holders by mail, Rapid Electronics are a better bet (part number 60-4198).

If you are really mean over postage there are also some ebayers offering the same part (e.g. lesjacksam) double check part numbers before going down that route though. Hope this helps somebody.

The OMRON relay can be obtained from RS electronics (about £6 for a pack of 10) or a G5LE-14-VD 24VDC is almost identical (about £1 sold in singles)

I had a similar problem with the buzzer going and then the motor stopping altogether.
I purchased the new thermostat circuit board and put it in place. All the lights worked the motor ran and the freezer got very cold. Now with just the green light on and the motor running, the motor won't cut out. I can turn the power off and on manually to cut the motor. The motor stays off for a period of time before cutting in as you would expect but then won't cut out again. The cold setting is mid way between min and max.
Has anybody got guidance on my next course of action? It would be most appreciated.
Thanks, Geoff Barber

Spoken to three fridge engineers, all said the same thing, COULD be the gas and that would cost £140. One even told me I was lucky to 5 years out of a Hygena freezer!! No one can tell me is replacing the thermostat would help! I have tracked the part Tim mentioned but have to buy a hundred!!! so stalemate at the moment

Spooky I am experiencing the same problem. First the buzzer going off and then not working at all despite the lights coming on. Is it worth getting in a refrigeration engineer do you think? Would be interested to know how you get on.

Would replacing the whole electronic thermostat (Or
is it the mother board!) solve the problem?? I found the part for £55.00.
The freezer isnt working at all now, but the thermostat still has lights and buzzer!!

So do we have to give up trying to get the part??

Thanks so much for your helpful reply...

the culprit is the control relay that does not energise. thermostats are a thing of the past now and all is electronically controlled. there is a small circuit board under a grey flap ontop on the freezer (where the lights are)

the component is probably a schrack T7NS5H1-24-WG-A.

unfortunately Shrack has been purchased by Tyco so finding an actual relay is turning into a bit of a problem.
I have the same issue and researching the net has thrown up an equivalent , an omron OMRON G5LE-1-VD 24VDC but that too is becoming a problem to find.. at least here in the UK.
Its a 2 minute job to complete witha soldering iron and will save the £400 for a new freezer for the sake of a £1 component!
