Electolux Cyclone xl hoover keeps on cutting out approx. every 8 minutes ?

My Electrolux Cyclone XL hoover keeps on cutting out after approx. 8 minutes of hoovering. Any ideas on the reasons why?

Ours does exactly the same, even with all the filters and pipes removed - I think it's dump time.

clean the filters ,check pipes for a blockage,lost sock etc .
