Replace Timer Knob on Bosch WFB 2005 Washing Machine?

please read this and ponder (think about) has the machine been playing up recently ?
changing the timer knob may not cure your problem as some machines without a display console spin the program knob when the machine has developed a FAULT.
The machine could have reached a point in wash program and then developed a fault hence the spinning knob, i e
FAILING to fill up inlet solenoid valve
" to heat the water, heater element/thermostat
" to turn drum motor
" to pump off, drain filter/ pump
" to /rinse , inlet solenoid
" to spin pump or motor
need to watch dial and see WHEN this develops.
