Hi I have relocated the lift n installed it. But the lift won't work now it's showing up 0-2 on the display n I have put 2 new battery's in it n it still won't move up or down can any one please help me on this?

Hi I am relocating a minivator simplicity 950 stair lift. I have track installed and am trying to get the seat to go on the rail. It looks like the motor is jammed, as it won't move when I press the remote down button. I am getting error codes 0 and six alternating on the display. Can anyone help?

How to fix a 950?? Have a 1000 instead!!! Built by British workers (at a laughable wage) but much more reliable!!

Anyone know how to separate minivator 950 track?
Have removed Allen bolts from both sides and recessed ones at top
But just won't budge apart?
Any hidden fixings I have missed?

they are rubbish stairlifts. i fit various stairlifts and these are nearly as bad as bison 45 stairlifts

You don't have to hand wind it to get it on the track. Load it at the top. Connect all your wires, footplate chassis and seat and press the toglle to go down. You can also use the remote control to do it. There is a brass bush in the centre of the power pack, it runs on the copper strip on the track for charging. Make sure when you drive the powerpack onto the track that the bush isn't catching on the track - look from the top of the track down.
