Why is my 2006 Suzuki Swift ABS light stying on?

My 2006 Suzuki Swift ABS light is staying on then goes off for a while then comes on again during driving and stays on, how can i fix this problem and where is my ABS sensor on this model of car?

ABS Reluctor rings are prone to corrosion and breaking apart.

I purchased rings from ABS Rings Scotland via ebay and got my local landrover garage to fit it. Ring £6.00 work £85.00 Much better than Suzuki Dealer prices for a new driveshaft!

I have the same problem and have just paid £350 for one side to be done, only to be told it will be another £470 as the other ring gone and Suzuki will not sell the ring separately. I have to replace the entire driveshaft on both sides. Does anyone know if the companies suppling just the reductor rings work? Our local Suzuki dealer still saying entire driveshaft must be replaced, not just the ring.

I had the same problem on a 56 plate ABS going on / off, ABS ring had cracked, part cost £20+ Vat, labour to fit by Suzuki £50+Vat. Made of crap material. two other people were at the Suzuki garage with same problem on similar age cars 3-4yrs old. Hope this helps

My 2005 Swift has the same problem, there is corrosion of the serrated rings on the end of the drive shafts, requires two new drive shafts costing over £500 parts only, the cars only done 24000 miles, not very impressed.

The ABS sensors will be on the end of the drive shafts, close to the wheel hub. Look for serrated rings at the end of the shaft and make sure that they are clean, along with each sensor. (I blow them clean with compressed air). Also make sure that the wires going to the sensors are intact. There are also sensors on the rear wheels so they need to be checked out too.
