series 90 washer stopped spinning & won't drain out all the water?

The Kenmore Series 90 Model 110.24932202 washer started it's normal wash cycles, but came to the Rinse and Spin cycle and stopped working when it was 3/4 of the way through the spin cycle. It left the clothes partially wet and about 1" of water in the tub. It only makes a humming noise on the spin cycle. We cannot get the water to drain or the tub to spin, even after resetting dial. What is wrong with the washer? Thanks
