How can I retrieve data from a USB with a broken circuit board?
My USB was physically damaged and the circuit board connection between the silver pen drive and the memory chip doesn't work. Quotes from data retrieval specialists range from $500-1500 but it seems like if I had a reader for the internal memory chip on the USB I could pop it out and retrieve the data myself. Is that possible?
