spaners and sockets should be enough. my top tip is to leave the engine running and use a pressure washer to blast the engine area especially the glow plug area. allow to dry and remove the plugs. the reason to use the washer is to remove any loose debris. my friend removed his plugs and a small stone entered the engine.this cost him £200 to have the cyl head removed and refitted just to have a small stone removed!!
