How do I fix the windscreen washers on my '98 bmw 5 series?

The water reservoir is contaminated with algae and it blocks the jets. The only answer is to jack/support front offside and remove wheel. Remove plastic wheel arch enough to gain access to the reservoir and pump motors (situated in front of pedals not bumper). Dismantle and clean out.
Avoid using tap water. Found Halfords ready mixed screen wash less likely to be contaminated.
