open the rear door of my espace when stuck?

same as what mark says but at the top of the trim there is 2 black plugs underneath them there is a 10mm bolt you will need to undo all the way but when putting back together you can screw them in slightly or it can be very awkward to put back together normally the problem with the rear lock is it is slightly lose and it needs a good bit of wd40 to run nice and smoothly the same problem has happened to me a couple of times

If its the old espace not espace IV, and the boot not open from the outside,you need to get into the back through the back seats try to remove the seats ,then you have to remove the tailgate trim remove the torx 20 screws you can see which hold the panel in place ,then when the panel is removed ,you need to locate the lock mechanisum rods or lever and pull untill you have released both sides ,then you need to look if you need to replace any parts or just give them some lube.
