Tricity Bendix 1000 Washer/ Dryer WDR 1030 Wiring Diagram?

The drive belt snapped and so sliced off the wires from the spade terminals just above the spindle. Any ideas where to get a diagram or info on which terminals to reconnect the wires. Thanks

Hi,
I have just repaired the same problem with my AW1100W. The belt broke, tore out some wires and wrapped itself around the pulley and spindle. It was a tedious job to clear out the bits of old belt which had wrapped round the motor shaft - along with some wires, and also jammed up underneath the drum pulley. Having done that I inspected the wires. There were two grey wires which appeared to be those torn off the heater. I repaired the wires and put on two new 1/4" insulated crimps. It does not matter which way round the heater wires go.
The other damaged wire was the earth wire. I made up a new earth wire linking the heater earth and the motor earth together and re-attaching this pair with an insulated bullet crimp connector to the original earth wire.
There was also a little mechanical damage caused by the flailing and some plastic bits were broken off but none were too important and cable ties came to the rescue! I then tidied up the routing and, using several cable ties, tried to prevent a reoccurrence of this problem should the belt break again.

I obtained my new belt through eSpares - the delivery was amazing! Fitting the new belt after having removed all the bits of old belt was difficult as it has to be stretched quite a lot, but it went on eventually.

I re-assembled the machine, and it is now running well again.

As a matter of interest, my machine is an AW1100W so it might be slightly different, but I had quite a conundrum trying to work out how to get inside the washing machine as the back did not just come off! In the end it turned out that the outer case splits in half and the entire rear half of the case is removed. This is achieved by
a. Two screws top rear release the machine top which then slides out.
b. There is a large metal plate running horizontally across the top. It can be seen that two screws each side pass into the rear section on the casing. Remove these 4 screws.
c. There are two screws at the bottom at the rear. Remove these.
d. Finally, there are two plastic plugs, one each side at the bottom. Remove these to reveal two screws inside. Remove these two screws.
e. At the top of the rear section is an assembly carrying the water inlet and mains cable. This is popped out by depressing two release catches.
The rear section now slide out backwards, clearing the drain hose as it does so.

Good luck with your machine.
