combi boiler 80e & 105e pressure up to 3.5 bars, water leaking underneath?

My combi boiler 80e & 105e (not sure which one) pressure was up to 3.5 bars with water dripping slowly underneath. Can anyone give me any ideas. The pressure has dropped now to 2.2 and stays steady when turning on the hot water tap. No lights were flashing at the time I noticed the leak. Only the temperature light to the radiator and taps were on and the power light underneath that. Is it safe to still use the hot water and heater. Do I have to flush anything out or bleed anything to make the water stop dripping. Thanks in advance for any help, although need help asap.

DONT LISTEN TO EITHER OF ABOVE. THE REASON THE PRESSURE GOES SO HIGH IS BECAUSE THE EXPANSION VESSEL INSIDE THE BOILER AS NO AIR CHARGE. ITS ACTS AS A MEANS OF EXPANSION ON THE CH SIDE. AS THIS HAS NO AIR CHARGE THE CH WATER HAS NO WHERE TO EXPAND TO AND IS LEAKING OUT OF THE BLOW OFF VALVE. YOU NEED TO RELEASE THE PRESSURE IN THE BOILER, GET A FOOT PUMP ON THE EXPANSION VESSEL AND PUMP TO 0.7BAR. THEN FILL THE BOILER BACK UP. THE PROBLEM WILL THEN BE SOLVED.

the pressure gauge shows the pressure in the heating side of the boiler and is nothing to do with either the cold water or hot water pressure, the filling loop is either open or is letting water past to get the pressure this high. you need to release some pressure from the heating via a drain off on the boiler or on a radiator, the pressure gauge when the heating is cold should be between 1 to 1.5 bar

it is poss that the water is not leaking but has come out of the presure relief valve to reduce the presure bleed one of the radiators if you still have dripping water then seek pro help
