ditto.. preignition or spark knock caused by low Octian gas... Try mid grade if that does not work may be able to back timing off a bit..

sounds like spark knock, try a couple of tanks of a higher grade gas or add a bottle of octain booster to a full tank of lower grade of gas. do not add to hi octain gas as you will make combustion in cyclinder too hot and may cause damage to piston or rings.
