I had this error on Friday (6th May), the machine can't empty. I had to get water out through the filter (do while not washer empty;place baking tin under filter; open filter; close when tin full; empty tin;done) until I could open the door and remove the washing. Lay it on it's side, Locate the pump near and below the filter housing, remove the three screws then extract the body of the pump. In my case the impeller was completely choked with fluff. I cleaned it and the filter housing/filter, reassembled then run it empty on the hottest cycle. If you are in a hard water area, add some scalex/fernox/calgon/brewers citric acid. Now works fine. NB this really is a simple DIY job. My machine is 2 yrs old and I clean the filter every 3 months or so - now will do it every month.
