I think it means your one of your ABS cables is needing replaced. Your brakes should still be working ok but if you skid you won't have the assistance of the ABS system. The reason I know this is the same thing has happened to me and I have been assured that it's ok to drive in the meantime till I have the money (£160) to have the cable replaced. You will probably have to take your car to a garage for a diagnostic computer check to confirm which cable is broken - there are 4 one for each wheel.
