how do i fit a starter motor on vauxal vectra 2.00l sri 1996 model?

it,s 1.8 16v the starter is in the back of the engine

With GREAT difficulty !! comes to mind! If you look down the back of the engine.. as you look under the bonnet - its right hand side... it is screwed / should say bolted to the gearbox with three bolts coming in to the s/motor from the gearbox side. Youlle have to jack the car up on stands...... cow of a job but you can do it!

I suggest you purchase the haynes manual for your car, it will give you detailed instructions on how to change the starter motor plus most other maintenance required well worth the money about 10-20 £
