Mend Bang & Olufsen Avant Screen Picture Starts

B&O 28" Avant?

When I turn on i get a red or green screen initially and then when the picture starts it has a red or green hue. After a while the TV then appears to 'short out' and turns off, though the TV does not return to position 0 on its turn-table. Is this just a case of replacing a card inside?
