Agreed with last answer...get another one from scrappy then poke about and find the wire ,which may be lost inside the tailgate,push it onto connection and push whole fitting back into place (it just clips in)

Has it been nicked?Your only option is to go to a Renault dealer buy a new light and casing and replace it(or go to a scrapyard)if it aint there it needs replaced.
