how do you set up McCulloch 250 LS trim mac carb?

I have the same problem, after priming the carb the engine runs for 30 seconds and then cuts out and will not strat up again. I have replaced the fuel lines which has made no difference at all. I have now bought a carb refurbishing kit but I'm not sure how to set it up

I had a similar problem with my hedge trimmer and found that it was the clunk weight on the end of the fuel pipe within the fuel tank that had dropped off. If the engine has gone from running OK to cutting out it's more likely to be a fuel supply problem than a carb. setting problem.
