Kenmore 70 series, electric..Thermal fuse was bad?
Kenmore 70 series, electric..Thermal fuse was bad. We replace it and it dry 3 loads of clothes. Now there is no heat. It tumbles and timer works but no heat. We are about to give up and buy a new dryer.
Try seting the temp. sw. on a different setting, like "perm press" .
If the dryer runs, you have bad temp. sw. They're cheap.
If not, then you have a problem on the heating side, again;
Htr. element, a loose, burnt or broken wire, or (rarely) the centrifugal sw. on the motor.
If you find a chafed or broken wire, R&R with a proper wire
for dryers _ Imperative!!!!
