i have a polycarbonate roof on my conservatory and when it rains i get drips coming from the roof down the wood struts onto the floor,ending in puddles...not always in the same place...i never know which part of the roof is going to kleak next...roof is probably really old and again like so many other peoples experience the sellers of my house failed to mention it ...hes a builder and from other things in the house i think he used my house a s a practice piece...is there some way i can seal the inside edges of the wood struts to stop this happening...new panels are out of the question...someone out there help please...the floor gets sopping wet and the tiles are dangerous to walk on when wet...thanks a million
I have same problems with polycarbonate panels leaking when raining is hard. The house is old and my friend told me no reason to replace it with new one. Just fix it by using Quick Roof Aluminum. You never seal inside always seal on the top of the panels. I use water horse to find where is the leak before make sure you seal the right place for leaking. Good Luck!

Clear mastic couple tubes and mastic gun apply inside along the edges but you should remember
(a) some of the sheets may have slightly slipped.
(b) rubber sealing strips on the outside my be rotten and need replacing.
(c) sealing the inside rain will stilll seep through the old outside seals and eventually rot the wood frame if not rotten already so best get someone out to give it a check out. And in my opinion you don't need to replace the polycarbonate just the rubber seals and maybe underside spacer strips if any.
