How to ajust the gear lever on my Murry riding lawn mower?

I changed the belt on my Murry riding lawe mower but now I cant put it back in gear. Can someone HELP! ME.

If this is a manual gearbox it may be because the belt is too tight, any belt drag on the pulley on a crash gearbox will not allow it to select gears.
