boiler pressure?

every time i top up the water on boiler it works for about ten minutes then cuts out ,after a while i realised that the water was coming straight out of the over flow pipe anybody got any ideas please

top up is usually maxed to 1.5/2 anything over this will cause trip out and overflow- check your manual for how much to fill the boiler
