getting mouldy smell from cotton pyjamas?

My pyjamas have been left in the washing machine damp for too long and smell of mould - several washings since and they still smell - how can I get rid of the smell.

There's a water sterilising liquid for babies bottles called Milton - similar to sterilising tablets for home brewing. You could soak your PJ's in a solution of either of these - they both claim to kill ALL bugs.

The obvious way to get rid of the smell of course is to throw the 'jamas away and go commando.
