how to repair Laurastar premium steam ironing system?

I had the same problem which turned out to be a faulty steam valve.

I have the same problem and it appears to be a faulty switch CHERRY Luxim D45X. Finding a replacement part is proving impossible.

Found a technical manual for the Premium, I have same problem as you- when I plug the iron in, it immediately blows the circuit breaker. Haven't had time to take it apart yet & have been trying to find a source for parts without spending hundreds to send it in for "factory repair". Check out www.ramontugues.com/47750/703.pdf
